Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Kraussel Applications ("we") handles personal data in Floorcraft. We are the data controller for account data of contractors who use Floorcraft. For the leads and customer data contractors collect through Floorcraft (for example, via their quote portal), the contractor is the controller and we process that data on their behalf.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login credentials, company details, team roles) — to create and run your account (contract performance).
• Lead and customer data (names, emails, phone numbers, property addresses, floor details, photos) — to provide the CRM and quote features to contractors (contract performance).
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages used, logs) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the product (legitimate interests).
• E-signature data (signer name, time, IP address) — to record contract acceptance (contract performance and legal obligation).
• Support messages — to help you (legitimate interests).

Who we share data with

• Service providers that host our app, database and file storage, and AI providers that analyze uploaded floor photos.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling subscriptions, managing billing, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Advertising platforms you connect (Google Ads, Meta) to receive leads you've chosen to import.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep data while your account is active. After an account closes, data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days unless we must keep it longer by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. Customers of a contractor should contact that contractor first. We respond to requests within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

Data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls that keep each company's data separate, and private storage for photos.

Cookies

We use only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in and run the app. We do not use advertising cookies.
